5 Steps For Creating Your Niche Website

Posted by Melvin on May 6, 2009 in Stormy Life

Making money online has never been easier. There are thousands of info products out there that teach different methods of making money with affiliate marketing, in any niche and with any kind of product. There are 5 simple steps that you need to go through to create your own website and start earning an income through niche marketing.

1. Register a domain

I recommend using Namecheap or Godaddy for domain registration. They are very affordable and have a great reputation online. Also, it is always best to register your domain outside of your hosting company.

2. Get web hosting

Web hosting is very cheap these days and you can actually get a solid hosting plan for around $5. Personally, I recommend using a company like Hostgator or Bluehost. Also, it is very important to get a hosting account that includes Cpanel and installers like Fantastico. With a program like Fantastico, you can install a wordpress site in less than a minute.

3. Create content for your site

After doing some research and getting your domain name and hosting, it’s time to fill your site with content. You can do the content creation on your own or you can outsource it. Elance is a great company to see about outsourcing content.

4. Sign up for several affiliate marketing programs

Go to sites like Clickbank, Paydotcom and Commission Junction to find solid affiliate programs that cover your niche and offer a high quality product with a good compensation plan. After doing this, you plug your affiliate links into the content that you have previously created or you write reviews of the products in question.

5. Start promoting your site

Decide on a promotion strategy, whether it be in a form of PPC campaign, a link building effort to get organic traffic through the search engines or maybe an article marketing campaign. Whatever you do, make sure you research the topic a bit and find the best solutions for your needs.

THere could be an optional sixth step in this blueprint and that would be to get an autoresponder if you plan on building a list of subscribers that you can follow up with more than once.

This is a simple blueprint and it shows how easy it is to get started with making money through affiliate marketing.

Self Sufficiency Is The (Immediate) Future

Posted by Melvin on May 6, 2009 in Stormy Life

These may be some of the darkest times in terms of the economy for many years BUT… perhaps all is not so glum. After all, out of hardships come some of the human race’s greatest triumphs and there’s an emerging trend right now for people to become more self sufficient.

From growing your own vegetables to making sure your money goes that bit further, there all kinds of simple, little ways we can all not only combat this ‘depression’ but actually improve our lives for the better. Few would argue against the idea we’re better off eating vegetables grown by our own fair hand and not sprayed with harmful pesticides so if that’s what this recession is doing for us, bring it on! From learning how to make biodiesel to little things like turning off every plug in the house… everything adds up to a more efficient world.

But have you ever looked into building chicken coops? Thought not. But let me enlighten you… there’s a lot to be said for having freshly produced, truly delicious eggs each morning from your own livestock. And it’s surprisingly easy to get started. All you need is a simple plan to put together your first coop and you’re away.

Then you can enjoy the advantages of your own fresh eggs (which you can sell to others) as well as some top-grade fertilizer and recycling capabilities. Building your own chicken coop is the future of self-sufficiency and by finding the right set of plans either online or in your local library you can have a smoothly running coop in your backyard by the end of the week.

Don’t understimate the power of chickens to brighten your day!

Finding a free background check made easy

Posted by Melvin on May 6, 2009 in Stormy Life

Conducting a free background check on the Internet is not as straightforward as some ads would like you to believe. While the web has provided us a huge amount of great tools for us to do our own our own free background checks, it is opened the doors to some unscrupulous companies and services.

Most background check online data is got by firms from free public records depositories. These types of information databases are sometimes local or local government agencies that make their data ready to the public.

A situation that alot of people including myself have ran into is that a ton of these corporations use old or poor information sources for their commercial web sites. These poor records are commonly worthless and superseded for the end user.

A frequent problem that I I have encountered encountered with free background checks online is a familiar bait and switch method. These services will be offering you free records and allow you to search their database but will prompt you for payment for the results.

Their are a few things you can do to make certain your not wasting your time with these poor quality background check sites. Your primary tactic is to conduct a Google search for the company or background check service on the Internet. Search for reviews by reputable blogs about the free background check services that you wish to use.

The other step I would recommend is to first, check if your local government has a free public records site. Many local and state governments provide free public data services to the citizens. These sites are sometimes contemporary and supply extraordinarily applicable results.

Look past the flashy advertisements of these sites. If it sounds too good to be true, than well it is. I have not basically found a useful background check online so don’t think the hype thrown at you common-or-garden on the web.

Tips On How To Reduce Credit Card Debt

Posted by Melvin on May 6, 2009 in Stormy Life

Credit Card is a plastic card issued to people who are capable to pay for their purchases. Before you can acquire this card, the credit provider will approve the application and agreed on certain payment terms. These cards are used by its holder to pay for the products or services purchased and pay back to card company on a monthly basis. However, if you are not paying your bill on time, you are charge of a penalty that accumulates an interest.

Here are a few steps to follow how to reduce credit card debt and get debt relief.

Record all your Credit Cards

Recording all your credit cards will provide you an organized copy.  Put them in a small handy notebook. Write the type of credit card, account number, annual percentage rate (APR), credit limit, minimum monthly payment (MMP) and the total balance due. From your record, you will know exactly what needs to be paid first.

Make a List of all Your Purchases

Making a list of all your purchases will help you identify all products and services you are overspending with. There are things to be cut off in order to save money and will enable you to pay your debt.

Pay Your Credit Card With The Highest Interest Rate First

After the record has been made, find the credit card with the highest APR which is needed for you to pay first. Credit card with a high APR can cost you a lot of money to spend. You must avail credit cards with 0% APR for 12 to 15 months without a transfer fee charge. If you can double the minimum amount to be paid monthly, it is much better. It will lessen the time frame of your credit bills. It will save you time and money as well.

Once you have used these options, it’s time to start looking into debt settlement. With debt settlement and debt negotiation you can eliminate your debts and not just consolidate them. You can reduce your total credit card balances and get your creditors off your back.  You can do it yourself or you can hire a professional company to do it for you.
