Cholesterol Laden Foods

Posted by Melvin on Jul 30, 2009 in Stormy Life

There are many foods that you need to be aware of that are laden with cholesterol. It is important that you are aware of the many types of foods for the sake of your family’s health.

A List of Cholesterol Laden Foods

Interesting enough, a sheep or beef brain is on the top of the list for the most cholesterol in foods. Makes you wanna run out and buy a couple, eh? Well, rest assured I won’t be anytime soon!! That is for sure.

Next on the list is fish oil. While there are many good attributes for it, there are also precautions that you must know about. Fish oil has a lot of cholesterol.

Chicken liver anyone? – Well, coming in as number three on the list is tasty chicken liver. I think that I will pass on this one as well. I am sure that many of us will.

Raw eggs (especially the yolk) – I am sure that there are many people out there who love the incredible edible egg, right? Yeah, I do but it doesn’t like us so we need to eat them in moderation.

Beef bi-products – Liver or tongues anyone? Nah, I didn’t think so. There are many people who like to fry up a batch now and again. If the grease isn’t bad enough, then eat some bi-products to add more to your already high cholesterol.

Canned crustaceans? – Uhm you mean as in shrimp and fish? I don’t think so. There are many that you think in your mind are very good for you. So since they are ‘good’ for you, you decide to go ahead and fry them; making them better? I sincerely doubt it. They are still high in cholesterol.

Fast foods – Well, this is definitely a no-brainer (to say the least). Uhm, maybe or maybe not, who knows. Maybe you didn’t know that those morning biscuits and sausage were loaded with all the fattening grease? Perhaps you don’t think about it while driving down the road on your way to work? Who knows, but now you do.

Pork anyone? – Did you know that pork is high in fat and cholesterol already. They are some of the nastiest animals and eat just about anything. They are full of cholesterol and sadly enough, many people fry them in grease.

There are many types of food that are loaded with cholesterol. We can choose to be knowledgeable in what we do or we can continue feeding our bodies junk. The choice is yours!

Professional Suggestions When You Want to Buy a Laptop Computer

Posted by Melvin on Jul 30, 2009 in Stormy Life

I was all set to go shopping and ready to buy a laptop

The minute I realized I definitely didn’t understand a single thing required for buying a notebook. I phoned my good friend Jeremy who is technology guru for help. I got amazingly good counsel and I’m happy to share it with you in the what follows.

The initial buying advice was avoid purchasing a laptop at a brick and mortar establishment. I suspect you may think you require the help of a retail shop associate but you actually don’t. In reality the guys they have attending to you at those locations understand essentially zero about laptop computers. You would be better off with no laptop advice. Your best course of action is to purchase a laptop computer on the Web. You probably will end up with the best price and the best selection with Internet laptop shopping.

Following that I was advised to decide if I was concerned about the weight and dimensions of the mobile computer. If it is mostly for use at home and not going on the road with you there is no requirement to spend the additional dollars to buy an ultralight or ultraslim mobile computer. A larger laptop might work out fine. If it is primarily being used in one place is adequate you will get a lot more precessing power for your cash. A beefy and powerful mobile computer is many times called an office computer substitute.

On the other hand, if you anticipate much mobile computing with your computer size and weight is a vital thing to consider. You do not stuck dragging around 8 pounds of powerful laptop computer gear every place you go. There are a wide range of sleek and easy on the back notebooks to choose from at reasonable prices. You just need to select the model and the color you want and the amount of computing power you desire in a computer.

Finding A Good Chiropractor Can Be Difficult

Posted by Melvin on Jul 30, 2009 in Stormy Life

Finding a chiropractor can be difficult! It turns out that not all chiropractors practice the same way or do the same things. While one may be a traditional “back cracker” dealing with neck and back pain, others consider themselves more “wholistic” and may not move your bones at all.

How can you tell the difference? If you visit a Jefferson City Chiropractor and tell them that you are dealing with neck pain, they should at least touch your neck. Sure they’re going to ask you about any trauma and other conditions that may stop them from working on you, but they need to address the area you’re concerned about.

If you visit a Boise Chiropractor with low back pain, you should at least have to bend over and touch your toes to show them which way makes it hurt. Often they will have you bend this way or that to see which way makes a difference. If it hurts when you bend forward but not when you bend backward, that is usually related to a herniated disc. If it hurts more when you go back, it’s probably not a disc problem.

You should understand that it’s the doctor’s responsibility to make you feel comfortable and explain everything. I have no idea how someone can visit a chiropractor and have no idea what they’re having done to them or even what’s wrong. You can’t let just anyone touch your back or move your spine around, just someone that knows what they’re doing!

Like if you went to see a Federal Way Chiropractor after dealing with chronic headaches, what should the doctor do? They should take a history, do an examination, and they may even need x-rays. There’s a lot of factors in finding out if x-rays are necessary or not, but the doctor should be able to tell you why they need them.

Some doctors just take x-rays on everyone as part of their “process.” You don’t have to have x-rays just because someone does it to everyone. There needs to be a reason to take an x-ray and it will give you an indicator as to what type of doctor you’re dealing with.
